Concerning the divine Sovereign
It an undeniable truth that The divine sovereign (from the new Fire emblem game Fortune’s weave that’s set to come out this year) is Corrin the main character from Fire Emblem fates.
However what isn’t known is what his role in the story will be; he most certainly will not be the protagonist again, but he also won’t be the villain as the trailer names the new character Theodora( a swarthy skinned woman who wears what is assumed to be a dragon bone crown) as the game’s villain.
So then what will Corrin’s role be?
Will here is were things get interesting, because the the first thing we see and hear of Fortune’s weave in the trailer is Corrin standing upon a balcony overlooking a grand arena and saying to an audience of competitors:
“Bold warriors, draw now upon your strength, Hold fast the division in your betting hearts, Hear me now as I declare that the Heroic games have begun!”
Corrin’s speech is impressive but it also gives a hint to his role in the story.
Now for those of you who haven’t seen the trailer the story of fortune’s weave revolves around this gladiatorial contest called the Heroic games, where many people from different parts of the world Volunteer to win according to Corrin “their Hearts desire.”
One of these competitors is a Nohrian named Dietrich whose also might have ties to fodlen as well as his possesses a Dragon crest.
So based upon this information Corrin’s role will most likely be similar to his father’s serving as the primary driving force behind what happens in this story.
However unlike with Anankos who driven by a desire to destroy humanity who he regarded as being faithless and deserving of death; Corrin will most likely be more benevolent towards the various people in the story and we can see this because of an interesting unnamed character who is seen accompanying one of the main characters.
This girl whom I’ve chosen to call Ariadne is seen in the trailer fighting alongside one of the heroes of the story Named Cel.
Though much is unknown about Ariadne what we do know is She’s most definitely a Vallite based on her emerald green eyes which is a quality she shares with the famous Vallite songstress and wife of Corrin Azura From Fire Emblem fates.
Now it’s anyone’s guess right now on How Corrin’s story will end in Fire Emblem fortune’s weave, but if I have a guess it’ll probably end with Corrin ask the winner of the Heroic game to “slay” him because even though Dragons in Fire Emblem are eternal beings and can’t die, they can however become mad if they remain within the mortal plan for to long.
But at the en of the day this is all just a theory.
